Article 5 (Types and qualifications for membership)

① The members of the Association are composed of regular members and special members. Regular members are South Korean businesses in the ventilation industry, while special members are ventilation-related laboratories, universities, and foreign companies located overseas
Article 6 (Member registration)

If a person who is qualified as per Article 5 to join the association can be registered as a member by submitting a membership application form and obtaining approval from the Board of Directors.
Article 7 (The rights and duties of a member)

A member shall pay their membership fee as required and follow the rules of the Association. In return, a member is entitled to the rights as set forth in the Articles of Association and charged with the duties in the same manner.
Article 8 (Withdrawal, termination, and suspension of membership)
1. ① A member may withdraw from the membership by submitting an application for withdrawal.
2. ② In any of the following situations, the member status of a member may be terminated with a resolution by the Board of Directors;
  1. 1. A member defames the Association; or,
  2. 2. A member obstructs the business of the Association or fails to perform its duties as a member.
3. ③ A member is suspended if it fails to pay its membership fee for two years or longer and be expulsed from the membership if the non-payment continues for three years or longer.
