Chapter 1 General

  1. Article 1 (Name)
    The name of the organization shall be Korea Association of Ventilation Industry Companies (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Association.’)
  2. Article 2 (Purpose)
    The purpose of this organization shall be to contribute to the prevention of contamination of indoor air, promote the health of the citizens, and save energy across the country through the provision of high-performance materials and systems for ventilation while also contributing to the development of related industries.
  3. Article 3 (Location of the office)
    The office of the Association shall be located at 7, Seongsui-ro 7-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and the Association may establish branches with the approval of the Minister with the jurisdiction over the Association.
  4. Article 4 (Businesses)
    1. ① The Association may, in order to serve its purpose in Article 2, conduct the following business as far as such activities come in line with the nature of this Association, which is a non-profit organization;
      1. 1. Joint technology R&D projects related to ventilation;
      2. 2. Introduction of the association standard related to ventilation;
      3. 3. Lectures, training program, and site tours;
      4. 4. Making suggestions to the Government for the development of the ventilation industry;
      5. 5. Conducting surveys and preparing statistics for the ventilation industry;
      6. 6. Solving the common challenges faced by the ventilation industry;
      7. 7. Promoting friendship among member companies and international cooperation; and,
      8. 8. Other businesses that are in line with the purpose of this Association.
    2. ② The Association may conduct the following for-profit businesses, if necessary, to fund its businesses in Item 1 above;
      1. 1. Association standard certification for ventilation; and,
      2. 2. Provision of technical consultancy and performing other services related to ventilation.
